| Who Can Be A Member? Membership in WAFDI is open to all qualified men and women who are sponsored by WAFDI core member and who believe in equal rights and opportunities for all Iraqi women, regardless of ethnic and religious background or political affiliation. Support members have no voting privileges and are not eligible to serve on the organization's Board of Directors. How Can You Join Us? a. A WAFDI core member in good standing nominates the applicant, whereby the nomination reflects their personal knowledge of the applicant and assures that the applicant has no ties to the previous regime. Another WAFDI member in good standing seconds the nomination. b. The sponsor needs to send an email to wafdi@wafdionline.org with the applicant's bio and type of membership (core or support). |
